I’m Still Here

Hello, I am still here and to prove it are some pictures of England.  Taken last week in the always lovely Cotswolds.

The Swan Inn

I don’t have any valid or interesting reasons for my lack of posting other than enjoying the English summer and life.  So moving along… above looking at the Swan Hotel in the village of Bibury.

Bibury

Below the entrance to the hotel. It always looks so inviting sometime we will have to go inside and have a tea I think.

The Swan Entrance

Bibury is a very small village but also a busy one, as it is so picturesque.  One of the reasons is the line of old weaver’s cottages from the 1700’s called Arlington Row, just across the stream that flows along the road.  The swans and ducks swimming along the stream and the stone bridges all add to the quaint English atmosphere.

Arlington Row

I noticed this time all the doors have been freshly painted on the cottages.  I have some other pictures of the cottages but they are on a different camera card I haven’t put on my computer.  Besides I wouldn’t want to overdo it this time:)

Arlington Row and field

I’ll see if I can be better about communicating in the future.  Check your mailbox soon.

  1. Beautiful. Remember visiting there when holidaying in the Cotswolds about 5 years ago.
